Childrens Art Classes - Art Enrichment Programs with ArtzSpark
Founded in 2000 by artist and singer/songwriter, Tracy Verdugo and developed with the help of a passionate team of artists, teachers and entrepreneurs, ArtzSpark is a unique programme, based around the visual arts, which gives children the tools to become Self-confident, Creative, Optimistic, Resilient, Resourceful, Compassionate and Empathic.
Expanding rapidly since its inception, ArtzSpark has become the Shoalhaven's largest Art Enrichment programme for Kids.
At ArtzSpark we understand that children are gifted with an innate sense of curiosity and a desire to express themselves. It is this curiosity that enhances their ability to pursue their direction and seek out their path through life.
As parents and educators we are entrusted with the powerful responsibility of nurturing these traits in our children. How do we reach this goal? How do we help our children to continue to see the world with a sense of wonder and awe? What role does creative expression play in this wide and crucial task?
Creative expression, specifically visual arts are perhaps the most valuable tool a child has to maintain their interest and passion for learning and develop their sense of self-worth.

The PROCESS of creating and expressing oneself is at the core of the child's learning experience at ArtzSpark. While a child's artistic product is of great value, it is the development of the child's self-worth through artistic experiences that we strive to achieve at ArtzSpark. Although children often begin their artistic careers with wonder and an open heart, various experiences lead some children to become less and less at ease with their own creative expression. They lose their passion, which affects all aspects of learning. At ArtzSpark we strive to Encourage and value each child's increasing will to explore artistic expression with a sense of inspiration and informed creative awareness.
Creative exploration provides an opportunity to grow and develop connection to others and ourselves. In all ArtzSpark programmes, students will be gently guided into taking greater and greater risks with their artistic expression, while at the same time building their knowledge of technical art skills and the creative process. Each child has an emerging, unique style of expression that will be honoured at all stages of their development. Our mission is to empower children and foster their sense of self through exploration of the creative process. In discovering this process, and the creative power within themselves, Children enrolled in an ArtzSpark Programme students learn to view the world as a place filled with possibilities, one where they can shape and express their own vision.
ArtzSpark Programmes are:
- Visual Arts based creativity classes from preschool to year 10, led by fully trained ArtzSpark teachers who are passionate about what they do!
- Offered in pre-schools, primary schools, community halls, art centres and other convenient locations.
- Designed to cater for children's individual needs and learning styles.
- Offered with an array of high quality materials.
- Based on an ever evolving, inspiring, fun and exciting curriculum designed by a team of artists and teachers with over 30 years of combined experience.
- Non-competitive with a focus on the creative process over outcome.
- Delivered in an enthusiastic and nurturing way which uplifts children of all ages and artistic abilities.
- Helping to change the world through our Kids Care programme.
